Game Design. Employment in the game industry. Technical, verbal. and written game skills.
Course Description
The course consists of a semester-long assignment; through weekly writing assignments and collaborative exercises, students each write an original extended game concept document and a pitch presentation. Throughout the course of the semester, details of the job of the video game designer, and the realities of working in a game company, are explored and revealed.

On completing the course the student will be able to:
• Write a game design according to accepted industry standards.
• Have an understanding of what it means to work in games and how to successfully apply for a game job.
• Utilize technical, verbal, and written presentation skills to pitch a game concept.
