Introduction to Java Programming

Description (2 Units)

Not to be confused as slang for coffee or an island in Indonesia, this Java is a portable object-oriented language developed by Sun Microsystems. Originally used mostly for web programming, its primary current use is for developing large web-based applications. In this course, you’ll get a thorough overview of basic Java control structures; class variables and methods; using arrays and strings; combining text with graphics; inheritance; exception handling; abstract window toolkit; and files and streams.
