Enterprise Resource Planning, Design, and Implementation

Description (3 Units)

Build it and they will come. With this course, you’ll get an in-depth look at the process and requirements necessary to implement an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) for an organization. Grouped into small project teams, you’ll begin by setting up a Windows server system which you’ll monitor throughout the semester. Then, following SAP’s methodology you’ll implement an ERP system that can be used to coordinate an organization’s activities. Data will also be transported from an old legacy system to your new ERP system. Finally, you’ll measure a new level of success when you configure your ERP system to model the organization’s customer-order process.
