Customer Service Representative - Wired Talent

Summary: Assist customers with accounting and billing issues through phones, live chat, emails, and message boards.

Job Duties

• Takes phone calls and assist all customers with their issues
• Be logged into the phone at all times, using the Auto In, AUX, and After Call features
• Respond to e-mails in a timely manner, while being courteous and addressing their issue the best way possible

Qualifications

• Customer service is #1. Some Call Center experience is preferred.
• Good Oral and Written Communication Skills and Strong Planning, Organization, Problem Solving and Execution Skill
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Hours: Monday- Friday 9:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00/hr


Productions Associate - Wired Talent

Summary: The Productions Associate will be responsible for researching and gathering data, generating reports and assist in project maintenance.

Job Duties

• Research and gather necessary information for each project
• Generate reports as needed, detailing information collected in research
• Monitor technology trends related to each project
• Conduct market research, focus groups, and various data research for use in production materials
• Assist in project maintenance such as execution of product plans and strategies
• Translate product materials and documents from English to Japanese and Japanese to English (if bilingual)
• Other tasks and duties as required by the manager

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree in related field preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Must have strong research and analytical skills
• Must have strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of PC technology a plus
• Interest in Video Games and gaming consoles a plus
• Bilingual in Japanese is a big plus
• Ability to work overtime

Technical Quality Assurance Tester - Wired Talent

Summary: As a member of TQA, the primary role of a TQA Tester weill be to test hardware and software compatibility for systems such as PS2, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, and PC by following instructions from the Senior Analyst.

Job Duties

• Assembling/Disassembling of PCs
• Perform Technical Requirement Checklist test for Nintendo DS titles
• Perform Technical Requirement Checklist test for Windows OS based titles.
• Responsible for verification of current bugs, including verification as to whether the bugs are fixed or remain open in the current revision of the game.
• Assist Senior Analyst in various testing of a project.
• Other tasks and duties as required by the manager

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have knowledge of PC hardware parts, minimum 1 year working with PC hardware.
• Ability to work overtime
• High interest in Console and PC based games
• Familiarity with various gaming consoles and devices
• Minimum 1 year experience in Windows XP/2K or equivalent
• Must have strong analytical skills, be a team-worker and be detail oriented
• Bilingual in Japanese is a big plus

Required Experience:
-Minimum of 1 year post educational experience.
-Experience creating concept work for games and/or movies.
-Experience with Photoshop or Painter required.

Requirements:
-Ability to work effectively within a team.
-Practical art skills such as sketching, illustrating, drafting, and painting as needed for effective conceptualization is a must.
-Must have ability to design a broad range of original concepts: characters, creatures, interior and exterior environments, vehicles, objects, both organic and industrial.
-Lighting, composition, color studies, painting and storyboards also a must.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Work closely with project directors to develop an art style for the game.
- Create concept drawings based on instructions from the project directors.
- Create high quality illustrations required for marketing and media as required.
- Help develop art reference guides for internal and possibly external artists.

Software Testing Engineer - Wired Talent

Responsibilities include:

• verifying full test code coverage
• maintaining existing test suites
• finding bugs and verifying fixes
• developing tests to cover evolving features of the network platform
• integrating various test components into an automated testing system.

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• C/C++ programming experience (C# and .NET are pluses)
• 5 years’ experience developing or testing software applications
• 2 years’ experience in server testing and debugging
• Experience developing stress and performance tests
• Experience testing distributed systems and/or large-scale server applications

Responsibilities:
• Write exceptionally maintainable, yet efficient, code to interface with various 3rd-party products, including customer service and billing applications.
• Ensure the integrity of the code – that it will provide a seamless user experience on a heavily trafficked site.
• Work with a team of Network programmers developing original online game software technologies, including high-performance client/server and database systems with state-of-the-art content delivery, security, chat, system monitoring, and logging facilities.
Requirements:

Mobile Porting Engineer - Wired Talent

Responsibilities:
• Be a key member of a software development team responsible for programming mobile games and lifestyle applications.
• Port applications to a wide range of mobile handsets and multiple carriers
• Modify or add new features to mobile applications as needed
• Adhere to defined coding standards, quality assurance practices, and project development processes including documentation, software configuration management, status reporting, testing, and debugging.

Responsibilities
- Model and texture environments for next generation games.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years game industry experience.
- Solid experience modeling/texturing and lighting environments.
- Experience in first person shooters and/or action adventure games.
- Experience in software art or animation with one or more of the following 2D and 3D software packages: Maya, Softimage, 3D Studio Max, Alias, Lightwave, Filmbox, Photoshop, and Painter.
- Strong artistic skills and working knowledge of 2D and 3D art production.
- The ability to create 3D models and 2D texture maps from 2D concept art.

Core Requirements
- Two or more years programming experience.

- Technical expertise in one or more - Playstation® 2, GameCube, XBox™, graphics and animation techniques, interface design practices, effects, test engineer, AI, online, physics, rendering, vehicle, portability, extensibility, and testability.
- Unreal Engine 3 experience is desirable.
- Thorough knowledge of software design practices including modularity documentation, event-driven architecture, and object-oriented design.
- Degree in Computer Science.
