Minor Description
Web technology is a staple of everyday life, but most people still don’t understand how websites work or how to design them. This minor teaches you to design, develop, and create your own websites. You will learn real industry theory and techniques to build web databases, create interactive user interfaces, design applications, and more.
Why Students Take It
To learn how to build interactive, effective web sites. By the end of their course of study, students know how to build web sites, hook up databases behind the sites, program dynamic web pages to interact with users, script original functionality, and integrate existing technologies and apps. They learn real industry theory and techniques to prepare them to enter the web industry or to work in the web sphere within another area.
