Specialization Description
***ITP 320 UNIT CHANGE - FALL 2013 - Please note, ITP 320 went from a three unit course to a four unit course starting fall 2013. The specialization is three classes total -- ITP 320 and two electives. If you took ITP 320 when it was 3 units, your specialization will be 9 total units. If you take ITP 320 as a four unit course (everyone fall 2013 and after) your specialization will equal 10 units.***

Many Fortune 500 companies rely on SAP - an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software - which helps manage and streamline business processes. This specialization combines business process management and information technology to prepare students for a thriving technical or business career. Few universities offer programs in this area and companies are seeking competitive students with these skills.

Students pursuing the Enterprise Information Systems Specialization using SAP must receive a B or better in all three classes, to be eligible for the specialization.

Requirements for completion (1 core course plus two elective)
Minimum units: 10


All of the following courses (4 units):
ITP 320- Enterprise Wide Information Systems (4 units)

Choose two from the following ITP electives (minimum of 6 units)*:
ITP 422- Configuring Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (3 units)
ITP 454- Enterprise Resource Planning, Design, and Implementation (3 units)
ITP 487- Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence
ITP 488- Managing the Supply Chain Using Advanced Planning and Optimization Tools
ITP489- In-Memory Data Modeling and Analytics

*Students must take ITP 320 prior to taking one of these courses
