For our September fireside chat, we featured USC alumus, JASON BOSCO.
JASON BOSCO graduated with a Masters Degree in Computer Science from the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California. He is currently Vice President of Engineering at Dollar Shave Club. He leads their Software Engineering organization that’s responsible for building, scaling and evolving DSC’s proprietary high-volume Subscription E-Commerce & Content platforms behind dollarshaveclub.com – the Front-end Experience, Web Tier, Subscription Billing, Fulfillment, Order Management, Internal Tools, the Infrastructure that hosts their technology platforms, Data Pipelines and Data Science capabilities. He was the second engineer at DSC, built version 1 of several core backend systems and then built teams around each of them. He’s helped scale DSC’s technology and team to support a rapidly growing business with over 3M customers.
Prior to DSC, Jason was Lead Software Engineer at BlockBeacon, a location-based local deals aggregator startup that was later acquired by Dun and Bradstreet. He was part of the founding engineering team and helped build out the front-end and infrastructure.
For our October event, we held a fireside chat with USC alumna, ERICA GRAYSON, and had Sprinkles Cupcakes!
ERICA GRAYSON graduated from the USC Annenberg School of Communication. Her inaugural professional role at Jive Records positioned her beside pioneers in the entertainment industry. She evolved quickly, harnessing invaluable knowledge and a network of producers, Artist and Repertoire (A&R) executives, and top-level artists. Erica’s career foundation carved a path to her position as a Creative Manager for Sony, where she gained insight into sourcing new songwriters, negotiating publishing deals, and navigating transnational branding.
She later joined Interscope after an inspiring interview with Jimmy Iovine. She eventually took on a VP Position, working alongside the CEO and hot talents such as Pussycat Dolls, Keyshia Cole, and Mary J. Blige to name a few. Erica’s ability to deliver on the needs of artist, market, and stakeholder alike distinguishes her as a triple threat.
